These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of VeraDraft, including our website, applications, and related services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it updated.
2. Communications
By creating an account, you may receive transactional messages and product updates. You can opt out of non-essential marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages.
3. Founder Beta / Early access
VeraDraft is currently offered as a Founder Beta with limited seats. Features, pricing, credits, and limits may change or be removed at any time. The Service is experimental and provided without guarantees of uptime or performance during the beta.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
- Do not violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
- Do not interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to reverse engineer the Service.
- Do not access the Service by scraping, crawling, or automated means.
- Do not misuse AI outputs to mislead, defame, or impersonate others.
- You are responsible for compliance with third-party platform terms (for example, LinkedIn or other social platforms).
5. Your content and license
You retain ownership of the content you submit. By providing content to the Service, you grant VeraDraft a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, and create derivative works from that content solely to operate, improve, and provide the Service. You represent that you have all necessary rights and consents to submit that content.
6. AI output and professional responsibility
Drafts and suggestions are generated with AI and are provided "as is" and "as available." You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and deciding whether to use any output. The Service does not provide legal, financial, medical, or professional advice.
AI output may be inaccurate. Verify facts before publishing.
7. Third-party services
The Service may rely on third-party providers (including AI providers). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms.
8. Fees, subscriptions, and billing
Some features may require payment. If you purchase a paid plan, you agree to pay all fees and applicable taxes and authorize us to charge your payment method. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the billing period. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by us in writing.
9. Free trials and promotions
We may offer free trials or promotional pricing at our discretion. We may modify or cancel promotions at any time and may require a valid payment method to start a trial.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VeraDraft will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. In all cases, VeraDraft's total liability will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amounts you paid to VeraDraft in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VeraDraft and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or your content.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users.
14. Intellectual property
The Service and its original content (excluding user content) are owned by VeraDraft and its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.
15. Feedback
If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or compensation.
16. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of VeraDraft's principal place of business, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the courts located in that jurisdiction.
17. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated inside the product.
